Welcome to our stunning 6 bedroom home, 301 Surfsong! This beautiful home enjoys sweeping views of Turtle Point golf course's No. 10 hole. Fully renovated by Steve Bennett in 2014, the home has been significantly expanded with three additional new bedrooms, a new gourmet kitchen, and a large shaded screened porch that serve to open up the floor plan to accommodate large families with ease. Exterior architectural elements, including a cross gabled roof line, dormer windows, covered front porch, Charleston brick walk and entry stairs, wrought iron gate, copper gutters, and wooden carriage style garage doors, achieve a superior curb appeal with timeless Southern charm. Inside the home, brand new custom furnishings and interior design done by the versatile Melanie King Designs. The home's welcoming interiors feature a slate-floored foyer, vaulted beam ceilings, rich hardwood flooring, plantation shutters, handsome trims and crown moldings, shiplap detailing, and floor-to-ceiling windows and French glass doors out to the back deck and screened porch. The living room with slate surround fireplace offers vaulted wood clad ceilings with exposed hand-hewn beams and large French glass doors out to the screened porch and back deck, which enjoy sweeping golf course views amid signature oaks and palms. The screened porch will be your favorite hang out spot in the house with ample seating and a hanging bed. Beautiful and functional, the gourmet kitchen features a vaulted painted bead board ceiling, shaker and glass-front cabinetry, glazed tile herringbone back splash, quartz perimeter counters, and a teak-topped center island with pendant lighting. High-end appliances include a Thermador 4-burner gas cook top and range, microwave drawer, Bosch dishwasher and panel-front Thermador Refrigerator. The dining room seats eight comfortably and enjoys hardwood flooring, crown molding, deep baseboards, a wet bar with cabinetry, and picture windows overlooking the front yard and gated brick walk. The cozy library/study with shiplap detailing offers custom built-ins and light-filled bayed windows. Pocket doors create a quiet space to enjoy morning coffee or curl up with a good book!

The master bedroom has a king sized bed, private ensuite bath, and a flat screen tv. The three additional main level bedrooms contain a king bed, and two with queens and also have private baths. The loft area is easily accessed by a flight of stairs just past the laundry room and the two bedrooms there share a spacious bathroom, the first bedroom has a queen bed and the second room has two twin beds and a flat screen tv.

    Property was ideal for two families with adult children. The Home accommodated 11 very comfortably. Electrical issue was promptly addressed.

    We enjoyed our visit to Kiawah and the house was as expected.Well maintained and plenty of room for our family of 6 and two babies. It was a convenient location. We would definitely return.
